Summer musicians: 4embla

4embla is a vocal quartet consisting of four singers – sopranos Lia Djerf and Julia Underskog and altos Ebba Edvell and Sophia Yildiz. The repertoire is a rich mix from folk music to classical and own interpretations of well-known songs.

Every summer since 2010, Konserthuset Stockholm employs young summer musicians to give concerts during the summer season. This year, there are six ensembles, selected after audition, with music students aged 16–19 who five times a day offer varied music in the genres of classical, jazz or vocal in Konserthuset Stockholm’s entrance foyer towards Hötorget. The concerts are about 20 minutes long with free entrance.
