Summer musicians: Verket

Verket is a folk-jazz quartet consisting of Rasmus Mannervik piano, Magnus Adestedt bass, August Enoksson guitar and Joel Möller percussion. The repertoire is mainly self-composed and has its roots in jazz, but it is also strongly influenced by the members’ other musical influences, such as folk, funk, classical and world music.

Every summer since 2010, Konserthuset Stockholm employs young summer musicians to give concerts during the summer season. This year, there are six ensembles, selected after audition, with music students aged 16–19 who five times a day offer varied music in the genres of classical, jazz or vocal in Konserthuset Stockholm’s entrance foyer towards Hötorget. The concerts are about 20 minutes long with free entrance.
