Christmas Concert
This dazzling show includes many classic Christmas carols.
Christmas is the holiday of music! Welcome to Konserthuset’s big Christmas concert, a sparkling and wonderful show with many of the beloved classic Christmas songs and favourites from the American tradition.
Together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the gospel choir By Grace, the participants include artists from the classical and pop music worlds. Konserthuset’s Executive and Artistic Director Stefan Forsberg hosts this year’s Christmas concert.
At this year’s concert we get to hear three well-known Swedish singers. Pop artist Sanna Nielsen has, among other things, participated in the Eurovision Song Contest and is furthermore a popular TV host. Alexander Lycke has performed in musicals both in Sweden and internationally. Baritone Carl Ackerfeldt has performed in opera houses all over the country.
