Opera Arias – Aurora Music Festival
Opera arias with Camilla Tilling and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5
The Aurora Music Festival 2019 in Stockholm is the third festival in Stockholm and the 45th Aurora Festival in Sweden. At this concert, we will get to experience star soprano Camilla Tilling in arias from operas by Mozart and Gluck. We will also hear Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, one of the world’s most beloved and played classical pieces, which is no surprise, because this music has a uniquely special power of attraction. The familiar, hammering fate theme begins the symphony and opens the door to a dizzying musical experience.
Johannes Gustavsson will be conducting the Aurora Symphony Orchestra. In 2003, he was the first winner of the Swedish Conductor's Prize and in 2008, he received the Herbert Blomstedt Conductor's Award from the Royal Swedish Academy of Music
Since 2006, the Aurora Music Festival has gathered thousands of musicians, artists and global stars to perform classical music for over 100,000 listeners.
In cooperation with Aurora Music Festival.
