A short guided tour of Konserthuset Stockholm – its art and and history.
Konserthuset Stockholm was inaugurated in 1926 and is one of Sweden's most beautiful examples of the neoclassical style of architecture and design. It was created by architect Ivar Tengbom and was embellished by the leading designers and artists of the time. Ivar Tengbom's vision was to build an ancient temple in honor of music near the Arctic Circle.
The guided tour gives a brief insight into the history of the concert hall and its art, through foyers and the Main Hall. Please note that the Grünewald Hall is not visited. To see it, we refer to Guided Tour.
Maximum 10 persons/tour. Gathering in the foyer, entrance from Hötorget. Please note that our guide might wear a face mask during the tour.
