Fairplay Chamber Music
A full day with the Järna-based festival Fairplay Chamber Music, celebrating its tenth anniversary.
Fairplay Chamber Music is a values-driven chamber music festival that each year presents an environmentally sustainable festival and music academy in Järna. In 2026, the festival celebrates its tenth anniversary and, for one day, moves into Konserthuset in connection with the start of the summer season at Konserthuset.
It is a full and varied day, beginning with yoga to Bach’s music in the vestibule, followed by both masterclasses and chamber concerts in Grünewald Hall. The acclaimed performance On Time and Water with Björn Kjellman is the highlight of the evening – readings are interwoven with music by Tchaikovsky, before the day draws to a gentle close with Johann Sebastian Bach’s timeless masterpieces in the foyer. On stage are some of Sweden’s and Europe’s finest chamber musicians.
