På svenskaMaria Lundqvist and Bengan Janson present an evening of warmth, humour and a touch of musical acrobatics centred on the songbook of Cornelis Vreeswijk.
Actor Maria Lundqvist and Bengan Janson have shared the stage before – including performances with the Bohuslän Big Band. Now they return together once more, promising musical acrobatics, warmth and humour in equal measure.
“We’ve both longed for the chance to revive our collaboration. And this time it’s just the two of us on stage. Maria is a fantastic actor with a great sense of humour. We’ll dive into the wonderful song treasury of Cornelis,” says Bengan Janson.
Maria Lundqvist is a beloved Swedish actor, known from stage, film, television and musicals – always with the gift of moving and entertaining her audiences.
Bengan Janson is one of Sweden’s most versatile musicians, equally at home in jazz, folk and chanson. His joy of playing and spirit of curiosity have led to collaborations with many of Sweden’s most prominent artists. “Meeting other musicians is what drives me,” he says.
