Soup with a Jazz Flavour
About the concert
På svenskaAmerican standards and Swedish songs with Isabella Lundgren and Carl Bagge.
Vocalist Isabella Lundgren and pianist Carl Bagge have, for many years, formed one of Sweden’s most prominent duos in jazz and song. With her warm voice and deeply personal expression, Isabella Lundgren has established herself as one of the country’s most acclaimed jazz singers.
Carl Bagge’s sensitive and nuanced piano playing has long been a central part of their collaboration. Together, they move effortlessly between classic jazz tradition, Swedish ballads, and idiosyncratic interpretations of both American standards and the Swedish songbook. Lundgren and Bagge have worked together on critically acclaimed albums and performed on some of Sweden’s most prestigious stages.
