Autumn Concert

Once again, we at Stockholms Musikgymnasium are delighted to invite you to our annual Autumn Concert at the Concert Hall! An extensive program will be performed by more than 300 young singers under the direction of Maria Goundorina, Elias Aaron Johansson, and Sofia Ågren. This year’s guest groups are classes 9E and 9F from Adolf Fredrik’s Music Classes Norrmalm, conducted by Lina Sandborgh.

Stockholms Musikgymnasium was founded in 1959 as a natural continuation of Adolf Fredrik’s Music Classes, and since 1984 has been housed in Kungsholmen Upper Secondary School’s historic building near Fridhemsplan. The school’s choral program enjoys an excellent reputation both nationally and internationally, with regular collaborations with institutions such as the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, the Stockholm Concert Orchestra, and the Swedish Wind Ensemble, among others. The choirs frequently perform in various churches and concert venues including Berwaldhallen and Eric Ericsonhallen, and each year they give a highly appreciated and well-attended Saint Lucia Day concert in the Blue Hall at Stockholm City Hall.
