Ersta Diakoni – Gala Concert

Ersta Diakoni celebrates its 175th anniversary and crowns the jubilee year with a grand gala concert in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Silvia, the organisation’s highest patron. A distinguished line-up of musicians will portray Ersta Diakoni’s journey from 1851 to the present day.

Through music and storytelling, the concert highlights the people, ideas and events that have shaped Ersta Diakoni and left their mark on the development of Swedish healthcare and social care.

The courage, compassion and pioneering spirit of the deaconesses laid the foundations for the healthcare and social services that many in Sweden take for granted today. We celebrate and honour their legacy, as well as the progress that has followed in their footsteps.
