Kustbandet in Concert – In Style!

Kustbandet is one of Europe’s most established and internationally active orchestras, with its roots in the classic dance and entertainment music of the 1920s and 1930s.

With passion, commitment, a fine sense of style, finesse – and not least humor – the band has masterfully preserved and developed a popular music tradition that emerged a century ago, thanks to pioneers such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie.

Over the decades, their successes have been many – they have played at Nobel festivities and performed at thousands of concerts, festivals, and jazz clubs. As Swedish jazz ambassadors, Kustbandet has toured in more than 25 countries and has been praised by the media and jazz fans across the globe.
