When Seinabo Sey broke through with the singles Younger and Hard Time, she quickly established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in Swedish pop – a voice that also resonated internationally. Her deep, soulful tone carries both authority and vulnerability, with an expression that feels at once personal and effortless. Seinabo Sey has always followed her own artistic compass, something that became especially clear on the album The One After Me, where the tempo slows and her voice floats in a more meditative sonic space, with subtle nods to Swedish folk music.

She now releases her fourth album, Välkommen hem – her most personal and poetic work to date, and the first in which she sings entirely in Swedish. Through the singles Hitta någon, Slott av luft, Gudarna, Crazy and Yasins bön, a musical landscape emerges where the scenery of childhood meets the longings of adult life. Here her voice – one of the most beautiful instruments we have – unfolds with full power.
