Stockholm Wind Orchestra reaches for the stars

Join us on a musical journey through space! Stockholm Wind Orchestra invites you to a concert with the entire universe at its centre.

Stockholm Wind Orchestra is an amateur ensemble of around 50 musicians, constantly striving to develop by playing music that is enjoyable for both the musicians themselves and the audience. Under the direction of conductor Niclas Blixt, the orchestra has now set its sights on the stars with a concert of space-inspired music. Host Henrik von Sydow guides us through galaxies and stardust, with music in a wide range of styles and genres. Marches and classical sounds mingle with the jazzy Stardust and familiar film music from Apollo 13, Star Trek and the Star Wars saga.

The concert marks Stockholm Wind Orchestra’s first appearance at Konserthuset and in Grünewald Hall.
