One of Finland’s most successful bands comes to Konserthuset Stockholm in spring 2027. With catchy melodies, powerful choruses and an energetic blend of pop and rock, Haloo Helsinki! has achieved a unique position in its home country. The band now celebrates 20 years with its first concert of its own at Konserthuset – a long-awaited encounter with its Swedish and Sweden-Finnish audiences.

Haloo Helsinki! was formed in 2006 and consists of singer and bassist Elli Haloo, guitarists Jere Marttila and Leo Hakanen, and drummer Jukka Soldan. The band achieved its breakthrough in the 2010s with a string of successful albums and singles, becoming one of the most frequently played acts on Finnish radio. Its music ranges from direct, melodic pop to powerful arena rock, often with lyrics that combine stories rooted in everyday life with intense emotions.

Among its best-known songs are Maailman toisella puolen, Beibi, Kuussa tuulee, Hulluuden Highway, Reiviluola and Pulp Fiction. The band’s eighth album, Voiko enkelitkin eksyä – Can Even Angels Lose Their Way? – was released in 2025 and revealed a more reflective side of Haloo Helsinki!, without sacrificing its immediate melodic appeal or characteristic drive.

During its first 20 years, Haloo Helsinki! has sold more than 400,000 albums, amassed over 400 million streams and received ten Emma Awards, Finland’s equivalent of Sweden’s Grammis Awards. A concert in Sweden has long been high on the fans’ wish list, and when the anniversary tour concludes in Stockholm, that wish will finally become a reality. It will be an evening when the band and its audience celebrate the past 20 years together – with the music and all those well-known songs at the heart of it.
