About the series
P svenskaWhere words and music intertwine – music becomes poetry, and poetry becomes music.
Stop. Yes, we said something similar about this season’s Piano Solo series – but it bears repeating: this season’s Lied series features world-renowned artists such as Asmik Grigorian, Ian Bostridge and Christina Nilsson. Let that sink in. Please note that this series has changed day, and from this season the concerts take place on Tuesdays.
The German baritone Samuel Hasselhorn’s (pictured) career took off when he won the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2018. Today, he appears on many of the world’s leading stages – including the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Opéra Bastille in Paris and Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
