About the concert

På svenska

The German baritone in music by Schumann and Schubert.

For the Lied series, pianist Magnus Svensson invites an exclusive group of artists from the world’s leading opera houses and concert stages, offering us the opportunity to experience their vocal artistry in intimate encounters in Grünewald Hall.

The German baritone Samuel Hasselhorn’s career was launched with his victory at the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition in 2018. He now appears on many of the world’s foremost stages – including the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Opéra Bastille in Paris and Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

We hear Samuel Hasselhorn together with Magnus Svensson, who for many years has also been the artistic director of the series.
