Through highlights from memorable revues and performances, we meet Bengan Janson and Tomas von Brömssen in conversation, monologue and music-making. These are heartfelt reflections filled with warmth and thoughtfulness – and surely with a few unexpected gems. Tomas von Brömssen brings along his clarinet, and perhaps a willow flute, as he joins Bengan Janson on a joyful journey through a lifelong career.

Beloved actor Tomas von Brömssen first rose to fame with the television series Albert & Herbert, and for decades he has starred in an endless array of acclaimed and cherished roles on stage, in film and on television. Music has always been a part of his life: he discovered the clarinet at an early age and began playing traditional jazz.

Accordion virtuoso Bengan Janson defies categorisation. His joy of playing and musical curiosity have led him into the realms of jazz, Swedish folk music and popular song. Over the years, he has collaborated with virtually the entire spectrum of Sweden’s musical elite. “My driving force is meeting other musicians,” says Bengan Janson.
