Family Concert – The Orchestra!

Welcome into the colourful world of the symphony orchestra. Together with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, we set out on a journey of discovery through the orchestra – from strings and woodwind to brass and percussion.

At the heart of the programme is Benjamin Britten’s playful and inspiring The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra, music that, in an engaging and accessible way, allows each section of the orchestra to take the spotlight. An introduction to the symphony orchestra where grand sonorities, fine details and the magic of music take centre stage.

With Alexander Hanson on the podium and the inspiring Ayla Kabaca as host, this is a performance filled with musical joy, curiosity and moments of discovery.
