In the Lied concert series, pianist Magnus Svensson invites an exclusive circle of artists from the world’s leading opera houses and concert stages, offering audiences the opportunity to experience their artistry in intimate encounters in Grünewald Hall.
The English tenor Ian Bostridge performs on the world’s foremost stages, and his career takes him across the globe. His recordings have won all the major international awards and have been nominated for 15 Grammys.
Ian Bostridge is also renowned as an outstanding interpreter of Schubert: at his most recent visit to Konserthuset in 2023, he performed Winterreise together with Magnus Svensson. This time, the programme again includes songs by Schubert, as well as music by his compatriot Benjamin Britten.
