Lied Concert with Asmik Grigorian

For the Lied series, pianist Magnus Svensson invites an exclusive group of artists from the world’s leading opera houses and concert stages, offering us the opportunity to experience their vocal artistry in close encounters in Grünewald Hall. This time, however, a larger venue is required.

Asmik Grigorian is without doubt one of the foremost opera singers of our time, and in 2025 she was named Female Singer of the Year at the International Opera Awards. The Lithuanian soprano performs at venues such as the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Vienna State Opera.

During the anniversary season, Asmik Grigorian also appears in concerts with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra: on 24 and 25 February, she can be heard as soloist in Richard Strauss’s Vier letzte Lieder, conducted by Franz Welser-Möst.
