The distinctive and acclaimed artist in music for organ, woodwind and electronics.

The internationally acclaimed artist and multi-instrumentalist Anna von Hausswolff takes over the grand organ at Konserthuset in a unique programme. We hear her distinctive and powerful works for organ, woodwind and electronics.

Anna von Hausswolff has taken the music world by storm with her “avant-garde pop”. Her latest album, Iconoclasts, was hailed as one of the best of 2025. Here, she presents an instrumental performance in the Main Hall at Konserthuset, featuring music from the works All Thoughts Fly and The Lower Depths.

The album All Thoughts Fly (2020) was inspired by the Italian sculpture park Sacro Bosco, north of Rome, and the music was recorded on the Baroque organ at Örgryte New Church. The Lower Depths was composed for the stage production Natthärbärget (The Lower Depths) after Maxim Gorky, staged at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in 2022.

The arrangements are by Anna von Hausswolff, Filip Leyman and Otis Sandsjö. With three organists, three woodwind players, and sound processing and electronics, the works are presented in a surround system. Alongside the Konserthuset organ’s 6,100 resonating pipes, an experience out of the ordinary awaits.
