På svenskaThe dreams, the people and the music. This summer’s exhibition tells the story of Konserthuset’s 100-year history.
For one hundred years, Konserthuset Stockholm has been a place where music and people come together. Here, generations of musicians, composers and audiences have shared experiences that linger in the memory, from everyday concerts to ceremonial occasions witnessed by the world.
The blue building at Hötorget is more than a stage. It is an architectural landmark and a living cultural institution, shaped by its time yet constantly evolving. Since its inauguration in 1926, the building has hosted both symphonic masterpieces and musical expressions far beyond the classical tradition, while continuing to serve as an open meeting place in the heart of the city.
This exhibition tells the story of Konserthuset Stockholm. The visions, the people and the music that together have shaped a century of artistic experiences.
