Alf Hörberg
Member of the orchestra since 1996.
Alf Hörberg has been employed as a clarinetist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 1996. Periodically, he participates regularly in Konserthuset’s chamber music subscriptions.
Alf Hörberg has an expressed interest in period music performance and was a member of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century in Amsterdam for a long time, led by Frans Brüggen, with which he participated in around 50 tours of Europe, the US, Australia and Japan, and in many recordings.
Since 1980, Alf Hörberg has been principal clarinetist in the orchestra at Drottningholm Palace Theater, with which he performed as a soloist in Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. He has also been associated with chamber music ensembles such as the Stadler Trio, Nachtmusique (the Netherlands) and Ensemble Zefiro (Italy).
