Anette Wistrand Lavotha

Member of the orchestra since 1985.

Anette Wistrand Lavotha has been employed with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 1985. She studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with Wille Sundling and professor Josef Grünfarb, and in London with Manoug Parikian.

Anette Wistrand Lavotha has also been a member of the Stockholm Sinfonietta and previously also played in the Royal Swedish Orchestra. In addition to her position with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, she is frequently active in various chamber music contexts, including at festivals such as the Saxå Chamber Music Festival and in Konserthuset’s own Philharmonic Up-Close subscription.

Anette Wistrand Lavotha has also performed the solo in Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins and Orchestra in D-Minor, together with philharmonic member Annika Schönning and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Petter Sundkvist.
