Member of the orchestra since 1992.
Cecilia Glaser has played in the cello section of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since January 1992. She grew up in Västerås and studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm from 1985–1991. Her teachers there were Ola Karlsson and Elemér Lavotha.

Cecilia Glaser obtained her soloist diploma in 1991 when she played William Walton’s Cello Concerto with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Grzegorz Nowak in May that year. In addition to her position in the cello section, Cecilia Glaser has performed as a chamber musician in Konserthuset’s chamber music subscriptions on numerous occasions.
