Daniela Bonfiglioli

Member of the orchestra since 2011.

Daniela Bonfiglioli began studying at the age of 15 at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg under professor Milan Vitek. She then continued her diploma studies with the same teacher at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in the US, where she was also a frequently performing chamber musician.

She studied additionally at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna under Günter Pichler – concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic and principal player in the Alban Berg Quartet. Daniela Bonfiglioli has also participated in master classes at the International Holland Music sessions with violin legend Herman Krebbers, among others, and at Mozarteum University Salzburg with professor Yaïr Kless.

Following her studies in Vienna, Daniela Bonfiglioli was offered a long-term temporary position as alternate concertmaster in the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra. She has also been a regular section leader and concertmaster with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Norrlandsoperan, Musica Vitae and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra. She has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra’s first violin section since 2011.
