Sergey Putnikov
Member of the orchestra since 2024.
Sergey Putnikov has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra’s second violin section since 2024. He was born in Moscow, where he studied at the conservatory under Professor Sergey Girshenko.
From 2018 to 2022, he was part of the first violin section of the Russian National Orchestra under the direction of Mikhail Pletnev. Since 2022, he has been active in both Sweden and Germany, and is also a member of the award-winning Goldmund Trio. The ensemble is currently studying chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, under the guidance of Professor Jonathan Aner.
Sergey Putnikov has drawn artistic inspiration from masterclasses with musicians such as Dirk Mommertz, Martin Funda, Heime Müller, Antoine Tamestit and the Boulanger Trio.
