Per Andersson
Co-Principal and member of the orchestra since 2000. On leave.
Per Andersson has been a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra since 2000. Before then, he was oboe soloist with the Royal Swedish Orchestra from 1988. Andersson is regularly active in various chamber music contexts, especially in Konserthuset’s Philharmonic Up-Close and Soup Concerts. He has performed as a soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in J.S. Bach’s Concerto for Violin, Oboe and Orchestra (with violinist Marika Fältskog).
Per Andersson studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with Alf Nilsson. He also studied in Berlin.
