Amus Kerstin Andersson

Co-Principal and member of the orchestra since 1987.

Amus Kerstin Andersson is a well-known name in the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and alternate section leader of the second violin section. She is also an in-demand teacher and has periodically taken leaves of absence from the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra to dedicate her time to teaching, offering master classes and leading workshops. She has also soloed together with other leading orchestras in pieces such as Kurt Weill’s Violin Concerto and Tor Aulin’s Violin Concerto No. 3. In addition, she is an active chamber musician and regularly appears in Konserthuset’s chamber music subscriptions.
